About Course
About IT GRC Training
Boards and regulators ask for evidence, not assurances – GRC turns policy into proof.
Governance, risk and compliance is the part of an organisation that has to prove — with evidence a regulator will accept — that the rules are actually being followed. This programme teaches you to build and run that function: the governance structure, the risk register, the control catalogue, the obligation map and the audit that ties them together.
Course Overview
12-week IT GRC training at SkilBrill (72 hours) covering ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, DPDP Act and GDPR governance, risk and compliance. Live online and classroom.
Why Learn IT GRC Training
Every regulated organisation in India now has the same three problems: it has to show a board it is governing its risks, it has to show a regulator it meets its obligations, and it has to show an auditor that the controls actually operate. Those problems are not solved by writing policies; they are solved by people who can build the register, test the control and produce the evidence.
That is a small, scarce and well-paid skill set. The DPDP Act brought Indian privacy obligations into force, SEBI and RBI tightened sector rules, and ISO 27001 has become a condition of enterprise deals rather than a badge. Employers respond by hiring, and by paying a premium for candidates who have actually done the work rather than only studied it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is IT GRC training?
IT GRC training covers governance, risk and compliance as a single discipline: how an organisation is directed, how uncertainty is assessed and treated, and how it proves it meets its legal and regulatory obligations. The SkilBrill programme builds the capability to run that programme end to end, from policy through controls to audit evidence.
What does the IT GRC syllabus cover?
Eight modules across 72 hours: governance architecture and the three lines of defence, risk management under ISO 31000 and NIST RMF, the regulatory landscape including the DPDP Act, GDPR, SOX and RBI and SEBI requirements, standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST CSF and COBIT, control design and assessment, the internal audit lifecycle, privacy and third-party risk, and a capstone compliance programme with an audit simulation.
What is the duration and fee of the IT GRC course?
The programme runs for 12 weeks with 3 sessions per week of 2 hours each, totalling 72 classroom hours. Fees are ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 depending on the batch and mode. Weekday, weekend and evening batches are available in classroom, live online and hybrid formats.
Which certifications does this course prepare me for?
The curriculum maps to ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISACA CISA and (ISC)2 CGRC, plus SkilBrill's own course completion certificate. Exam fees are separate and paid to the awarding body.
What job roles can I pursue after IT GRC training?
Compliance Analyst, GRC Analyst, Information Security Analyst, IT/Internal Auditor, Risk Manager, Privacy Analyst and eventually GRC Manager or Head of Compliance. Typical Indian salary bands run ₹6 – 18 LPA depending on prior experience, with audit and regulated-sector roles at the higher end.
Do I need a technical background for IT GRC?
No. Compliance and audit work is evidence- and judgement-driven rather than hands-on system engineering. Law, commerce, IT and science graduates all enter the field. The programme starts from first principles and assumes no prior audit or security experience.
