About Course
About AWS Application Development
Delhi's Connaught Place and Nehru Place corridor mixes consulting firms, government-facing IT vendors and enterprise head offices, all of which carry cloud obligations. Public-sector and PSU work in particular requires vendors to evidence data residency and access control against whatever the tender names.
Working with public-sector clients means working to fixed documentation standards and procurement cycles. Graduates who can produce an architecture document that survives technical evaluation tend to do very well in this market, regardless of which console they learned it on.
This Delhi page carries the same 12-week, 72-hour AWS Application Development syllabus, faculty and assessment as the master programme, delivered live online and in hybrid format, with classroom batches at our Thoraipakkam centre.
Course Overview
12-week AWS Application Development training (72 hours) covering Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, CICD and application security. Live online and classroom.
Why Learn AWS Application Development
Public tenders name data residency and access-control requirements explicitly, so candidates who can evidence them against a named framework get contracted repeatedly.
Government-facing IT vendors carry an extra documentation burden that makes cloud people who can write design documents disproportionately valuable.
Connaught Place consulting firms staff multi-client cloud assessments, which is the fastest route to breadth of experience in North India.

Who Should Join This Course
- Web Developers — Moving their back ends onto cloud-native services
- Backend Engineers — Needing serverless, queues and managed data layers
- Fresh Graduates — Targeting developer roles that expect cloud fluency
- QA Engineers — Crossing into development with automation experience
- Technical Leads — Owning delivery decisions on cloud services

Prerequisites
No prior AWS experience required unless the course page states otherwise. Basic IT familiarity, comfort with a web console and command-line basics are enough to start; AWS itself, its vocabulary and its operating discipline are taught from first principles.
Learning Objectives
- Build and deploy serverless APIs with Lambda and API Gateway
- Model data in DynamoDB against actual query patterns, not guesses
- Write asynchronous flows with SQS, SNS, EventBridge and Step Functions
- Add authentication and authorization with Cognito and IAM conditions
- Test, observe and debug a distributed application in production
- Ship changes through a CI/CD pipeline with quality gates
- Handle idempotency, retries and partial failure correctly
- Ship a production application with monitoring and cost controls attached
AWS Services and Tools Covered
AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Amplify, Amazon Cognito, AWS SAM together with CI/CD practice, distributed-systems failure method, and the ISO 27001 and DPDP obligations that apply to handling customer data in an application.

- Full-Stack Developer (AWS)
- Integration Developer
- API Developer
Hands-on Practice and Capstone
Capstone: Build a customer-facing application from a written requirement: a serverless API on Lambda and API Gateway, a DynamoDB data layer modelled from the stated access patterns, asynchronous order processing through SQS with a dead-letter queue, Cognito authentication with fine-grained authorization, full CI/CD with a security gate, then ship it and operate it through a simulated production incident.
Production scenario: An order-processing feature starts dropping messages under load and nobody can say whether the queue, the handler or a downstream dependency is at fault. Reproduce it, trace it across services, fix the partial-failure handling that caused the loss, add the alarm that would have caught it, and prove the pipeline ships the fix safely.
Course Duration, Mode and Certification

Frequently Asked Questions
What is AWS Application Development training at SkilBrill?
It is the developer track for building software that runs on AWS: serverless APIs, managed data layers, asynchronous integration, application security and the pipelines that ship it. SkilBrill runs it over 12 weeks and 72 hours and finishes with a production application you then operate.
What programming language is used?
The course is taught primarily in Python because its AWS SDK support is the clearest to read, and every pattern taught transfers directly to Node.js or Java. If your team already works in another language the same services, design and pipeline patterns apply unchanged.
What does the syllabus cover?
Eight modules: development environment and SDKs, Lambda and API Gateway, DynamoDB and S3 data layer, asynchronous integration with SQS and EventBridge, authentication and application security, testing and observability, CI/CD, and a production application capstone.
What is the duration and fee?
12 weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 classroom hours. Fees are ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 depending on batch and mode.
Do I need to be an experienced developer first?
You should be able to write and read code in at least one language and understand basic HTTP. You do not need prior AWS experience: the AWS-specific parts are taught from first principles, and the design patterns are the point of the course.
What jobs can I get after AWS Application Development?
Cloud developer, serverless developer, backend engineer on AWS, integration developer and API developer. In India these typically start at ₹5–15 LPA, with product-company backend roles at the higher end.
Is classroom training available in Delhi?
No. SkilBrill's classroom runs only in Chennai. Learners in Delhi join the same live online / hybrid cohort taught by the Chennai faculty, with proctored labs and the same placement support.
Which companies hire for these skills in Delhi?
Learners in Delhi typically target a mix of MNCs and startups such as HCL, TCS, IBM. The programme's placement support applies equally to Delhi learners.
