About Course
About AWS DevOps Engineering
Delhi's Connaught Place and Nehru Place corridor mixes consulting firms, government-facing IT vendors and enterprise head offices, all of which carry cloud obligations. Public-sector and PSU work in particular requires vendors to evidence data residency and access control against whatever the tender names.
Working with public-sector clients means working to fixed documentation standards and procurement cycles. Graduates who can produce an architecture document that survives technical evaluation tend to do very well in this market, regardless of which console they learned it on.
This Delhi page carries the same 12-week, 72-hour AWS DevOps Engineering syllabus, faculty and assessment as the master programme, delivered live online and in hybrid format, with classroom batches at our Thoraipakkam centre.
Course Overview
12-week AWS DevOps Engineering training (72 hours) covering CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, CDK, pipeline security and quality gates. Live online and classroom.
Why Learn AWS DevOps Engineering
Public tenders name data residency and access-control requirements explicitly, so candidates who can evidence them against a named framework get contracted repeatedly.
Government-facing IT vendors carry an extra documentation burden that makes cloud people who can write design documents disproportionately valuable.
Connaught Place consulting firms staff multi-client cloud assessments, which is the fastest route to breadth of experience in North India.

Who Should Join This Course
- Developers — Owning the path from commit to production
- System Administrators — Moving from manual release to automated delivery
- QA and Automation Engineers — Crossing into pipeline and release work
- Fresh Graduates — Targeting DevOps roles with a demonstrable portfolio
- Technical Leads — Needing delivery they can audit and repeat
- Consultants — Standardising delivery across client environments
Prerequisites
No prior AWS experience required unless the course page states otherwise. Basic IT familiarity, comfort with a web console and command-line basics are enough to start; AWS itself, its vocabulary and its operating discipline are taught from first principles.
Learning Objectives
- Design a pipeline from commit to production with the right gates
- Write and refactor CloudFormation that a team can maintain
- Build infrastructure as code with the CDK and control drift
- Implement progressive deployment: blue-green, canary and rollback
- Secure the supply chain: artefact signing, secrets and least privilege
- Insert quality gates without making delivery unbearably slow
- Version and release your infrastructure like application code
- Ship a full delivery system another team can adopt
AWS Services and Tools Covered
AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, AWS CodeDeploy, Amazon ECR together with pipeline security practice, infrastructure-as-code testing method, and the ISO 27001 and DPDP obligations that apply to change control and audit evidence.
Career Opportunities After This Programme
- DevOps Engineer
- CI/CD Engineer
- Platform Engineer (AWS)
- Release Engineer
- Build Engineer
- Automation Engineer
Hands-on Practice and Capstone
Capstone: Build a complete delivery system for a real application: repository and review workflow, a CodeBuild and CodePipeline pipeline with tests and a security gate, infrastructure modelled in CDK with drift detection, progressive deployment through CodeDeploy with a rehearsed rollback, artefact scanning and policy enforcement in the path, then hand the whole system to another team and support their first release without touching it yourself.
Production scenario: A team ships on a Friday and the release fails halfway with no rollback plan. Reproduce the delivery path, identify where the gate that would have caught it was missing, rebuild the pipeline with progressive delivery and an automatic rollback, and prove the fix by shipping the same change again deliberately.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is AWS DevOps Engineering training at SkilBrill?
It is the delivery track: source control strategy, CI with CodeBuild, progressive deployment with CodeDeploy, infrastructure as code in CloudFormation and CDK, pipeline security and quality gates. SkilBrill runs it over 12 weeks and 72 hours and finishes with a delivery system another team adopts.
How is this different from AWS Cloud Operations?
Cloud Operations is the run side — monitoring, patching, incident response and cost. This course is the build and release side: pipelines, infrastructure as code and shipping controls. The two meet at automation, but they are different jobs on a team.
How is this different from the AWS DevOps Engineer Professional course?
That course is organised around the DOP exam objectives and its practice tests. This one is organised around building a delivery system you can hand to another team — no exam code in the title, no question bank driving the syllabus.
What does the syllabus cover?
Eight modules: version control and branching, CI with CodeBuild, CD and release strategy, CloudFormation, advanced IaC with the CDK and drift control, pipeline security and supply chain, testing and quality gates, and a capstone delivery system.
What is the duration and fee?
12 weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 classroom hours. Fees are ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 depending on batch and mode.
Do I need to be a developer first?
You should be comfortable reading code and working from a command line, and you do not need prior AWS experience. Infrastructure as code is written in YAML, JSON, TypeScript or Python, and the course teaches the language pieces it actually uses from scratch.
What jobs can I get after AWS DevOps Engineering?
DevOps engineer, CI/CD engineer, platform engineer, release engineer and build engineer. In India these typically start at ₹6–18 LPA, with platform roles at product companies at the higher end.
Is classroom training available in Delhi?
No. SkilBrill's classroom runs only in Chennai. Learners in Delhi join the same live online / hybrid cohort taught by the Chennai faculty, with proctored labs and the same placement support.
Which companies hire for these skills in Delhi?
Learners in Delhi typically target a mix of MNCs and startups such as HCL, TCS, IBM. The programme's placement support applies equally to Delhi learners.
