Question 1

What does Blue Prism training at SkilBrill cover?

Accepted Answer

Twelve weeks and 72 hours over eight modules: the platform and digital workforce, Process Studio and the object layer, building digital workers, application modelling and reliability, Control Room operations with the Work Execution Framework, release and governance, applied practice, and a claims-processing capstone.

Question 2

How is Blue Prism different from UiPath?

Accepted Answer

Blue Prism separates every build into a process and a business object, so reusable application logic lives in a VBO rather than inside the process itself. That structure plus strict release and audit controls is why it is common in banking and insurance. UiPath puts more of the logic in a single Studio project. This course teaches the Blue Prism structure on its own terms rather than translating it from another tool.

Question 3

Do I need to know C# for the Code Stage material?

Accepted Answer

You do not need it beforehand. Code stages are covered as a small, contained part of a process, and they are kept deliberately narrow because Blue Prism practice favours stages over embedded code. If you already write C# the module will be quick.

Question 4

Is Blue Prism certification included?

Accepted Answer

The syllabus follows the Blue Prism Developer objective set, so the course works as exam preparation. Certification itself is issued by Blue Prism's own programme and is booked separately, while the SkilBrill completion certificate is issued by us.

Question 5

What is the Work Execution Framework?

Accepted Answer

It is Blue Prism's model for running work at scale: work is loaded into queues and claimed by available sessions so that digital workers scale with demand rather than with fixed schedules. You will configure queue-based execution and monitor it from the Control Room.

Question 6

Will I work with a live Control Room?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The course runs against a working environment so you can deploy a process, watch it consume sessions, read a session log after a failure and promote a release between environments rather than only describing those steps.

Question 7

Who is this course for?

Accepted Answer

Developers moving onto a Blue Prism estate, operations and audit staff who need to understand what a digital worker produces, and graduates entering the Blue Prism development track. Delivery managers take it to scope builds against the two-layer model.
