Question 1

What is business analysis certification training at SkilBrill?

Accepted Answer

It is a programme in two halves. The first half maps the certification market: IIBA, BCS, PMI-PBA, the entry-level certificates and what each one is worth on a job application. The second half is the work itself: the artefacts you produce, the way you elicit, the trace matrix and the handover into testing. It runs over 12 weeks and 72 hours.

Question 2

How is this different from the IIBA certification course on this site?

Accepted Answer

The IIBA course is about one certification body: its ECBA, CCBA and CBAP levels, the six BABOK knowledge areas, the application with work history and references, and recertification. This course is about the whole market and the craft. Use the IIBA course if your credential will be an IIBA one; use this one to choose between the options and to build the artefacts.

Question 3

Is an entry-level certificate worth anything?

Accepted Answer

It depends what it certifies. A certificate that records that you finished a video course proves very little, and employers in business analysis rarely treat it as a qualification. It is still worth taking when it is cheap, teaches the vocabulary and gives you a deadline to work against. Treat it as preparation, not as a substitute for evidence of the work.

Question 4

What does a business analyst actually produce?

Accepted Answer

The core set is a vision or business objective, business requirements, user stories with acceptance criteria, a process model and a decision map such as a RACI. Around those sit the supporting artefacts: a requirements trace matrix, a decision log, and a change impact note. The exact set changes by employer, but the shape of the work is stable.

Question 5

Which certification should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Start from your record, not from a ranking. With no business analysis experience, an entry-level certificate such as the ECBA is the cheapest way to learn the vocabulary. With two to three years of work, the CCBA or the BCS Practitioner level match what you can evidence. With a project management background, PMI-PBA fits. Then check which one your target employers name.

Question 6

What is the duration and fee?

Accepted Answer

Twelve weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 hours, with the analysis pack and the interview review scheduled inside the course. Fees run from Rs 35,000 depending on batch and mode, with classroom, live online and hybrid options and placement support through 200+ hiring partners.

Question 7

What certificate do I receive?

Accepted Answer

A SkilBrill Course Completion Certificate for the full 72 hours of the programme. Whatever vendor credential you choose, it is issued by that body after you pass its exam and meet its eligibility rules. SkilBrill teaches the material and prepares you for that exam; it does not issue the credential.
