Question 1

What does Microsoft 365 Copilot training at SkilBrill cover?

Accepted Answer

Twelve weeks and 72 hours over eight modules: how Copilot grounds answers with Microsoft Graph, prompts across the Microsoft 365 apps, meetings and collaboration, tenant administration, governance with Microsoft Purview, adoption and change, applied practice, and a rollout capstone.

Question 2

Is this for end users or administrators?

Accepted Answer

Both, deliberately. The daily-work modules teach a person to get real output from Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, while the administration and governance modules cover licensing, tenant settings, Purview controls and rollout planning. Administrators, adoption leads and heavy users all take the same course.

Question 3

Do I need to know PowerShell or scripting?

Accepted Answer

No. Administration here is the Copilot admin experience and the Microsoft 365 admin centre, driven through the interface. Where a readiness check benefits from a scripted approach it is shown as a guided export rather than assumed knowledge.

Question 4

What is grounding and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

Grounding is how Copilot adds your own organisation's content to the request before the model answers, so a reply can quote your actual policy rather than a generic one. It also means permissions apply: content a user cannot see is not surfaced to them, which is why oversharing is a full module.

Question 5

Does this cover Microsoft Copilot Studio?

Accepted Answer

Only as the neighbouring product. This course is about using and rolling out Copilot inside Microsoft 365. Building your own custom agents with topics, actions and channels is the separate Microsoft Copilot Studio course, and the two cross-link.

Question 6

Is certification included?

Accepted Answer

The syllabus follows Microsoft 365 Copilot user and administrator objectives so it works as preparation. Microsoft exams are booked through Microsoft's own programme, and the SkilBrill completion certificate is issued by us on the capstone.

Question 7

What do I leave with?

Accepted Answer

A readiness assessment of a real tenant, a phased rollout plan with licensing, Purview controls applied to sensitive content, role-based prompt training for three job families, and adoption metrics with a baseline defined before you start.
