Question 1

What is PMP training at SkilBrill?

Accepted Answer

It is preparation for the PMI Project Management Professional exam, taught on the three published domains: People (42% of the exam), Process (50%) and Business Environment (8%). The course runs over 12 weeks and 72 hours, with a full timed practice exam and an exam-day plan at the end.

Question 2

How is this different from PRINCE2 training?

Accepted Answer

PRINCE2 is a prescriptive method: a defined structure of roles, documents and governance that you follow. PMP is a body of knowledge and a competency test: it asks what an experienced practitioner would do, and it accepts predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. This course prepares you for the PMP exam; the PRINCE2 course prepares you for a PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification.

Question 3

Do I meet the PMI experience requirement?

Accepted Answer

PMI requires 36 months of project leadership experience in the last five years to be certified, and you may sit the exam before meeting it, but the certification itself depends on the experience and the application. We explain the requirement, the education alternatives and the application process in the course, but the criteria are set by PMI and should be checked against your own record before you book.

Question 4

I have never led a project. Can I still take this?

Accepted Answer

You can start, and many people do. The exam is written for people with a project team around them, so the sessions include real project situations to work through: a slipped milestone, a sponsor who has changed the priority, a team that has stopped talking to each other. If you have never held the accountability, the plan in the course starts there.

Question 5

What does the syllabus cover?

Accepted Answer

Eight modules: two on the People domain (team leadership and stakeholder engagement), three on the Process domain (scope and schedule, cost and quality, risk, procurement and change), one on the Business Environment domain with delivery approaches, one on situational judgement and exam technique, and a capstone built on two timed practice exams scored by domain.

Question 6

What is the duration and fee?

Accepted Answer

12 weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 hours, with a practical capstone that runs alongside the sessions. Fees run from Rs 45,000 depending on batch and mode, with classroom, live online and hybrid options and placement support through 200+ hiring partners.

Question 7

What certificate do I receive?

Accepted Answer

A SkilBrill Course Completion Certificate for the full 72 hours of the programme. The PMP credential itself is issued by PMI after you pass the exam and meet the experience requirement. SkilBrill prepares you for that exam; it does not issue it.
