Question 1

What is PRINCE2 training at SkilBrill?

Accepted Answer

It is preparation for the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams, taught on the method as it is published: seven principles, the People, Product, Practice and Process structure, and the management products that carry each decision. The course runs over 12 weeks and 72 hours, with a stage simulation and two practice papers at the end.

Question 2

How is this different from PMP training on this site?

Accepted Answer

PRINCE2 is a prescriptive method you follow: named roles, defined products, delegated tolerances and a fixed route for every decision. PMP is a body of knowledge tested by situational judgement, and it accepts predictive, agile and hybrid ways of working. This course prepares you for the PRINCE2 exams; the PMP course prepares you for the exam set by PMI.

Question 3

Do I need project experience for the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

Accepted Answer

No. People sit the Foundation exam with no project background at all, and the syllabus is taught from the first session, including the vocabulary of the method. If you go on to Practitioner, you need the Foundation pass plus a minimum amount of work in a project role, and we explain how that experience is recorded and assessed.

Question 4

Should I take the Foundation or the Practitioner exam first?

Accepted Answer

Foundation comes first, and it is the only sensible order: the Foundation paper tests the method itself, while the Practitioner paper applies the method to a realistic project situation. Foundation is open to everyone and is largely knowledge. Practitioner assumes you have worked in a project role, so we map the exam situations to work you have actually done.

Question 5

What does the PRINCE2 syllabus cover?

Accepted Answer

Eight modules: the method and its seven principles, roles and decision rights, management products and baselines, the business case and economics, tolerances with quality, risk and progress, issues and change control, and knowledge with tailoring by scale, method and complexity. The eighth module is a stage simulation and two practice papers.

Question 6

What is the duration and fee?

Accepted Answer

Twelve weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 hours, with the simulation work running alongside the sessions. Fees run from Rs 45,000 depending on batch and mode, with classroom, live online and hybrid options and placement support through 200+ hiring partners.

Question 7

What certificate do I receive?

Accepted Answer

A SkilBrill Course Completion Certificate for the full 72 hours of the programme. The PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner credentials are issued by PeopleCert after you pass the exam, and the certification depends on the exam result and the experience evidence for Practitioner. SkilBrill prepares you for that exam; it does not issue it.
