Question 1

What is SAFe for Teams training at SkilBrill?

Accepted Answer

It is preparation for the SAFe for Teams practitioner exam, taught at the level where most people actually work: the agile team inside an Agile Release Train. The course covers the four SAFe levels, the seven core values, the ten Lean-Agile leadership principles, iteration execution and PI planning, over 12 weeks and 72 hours.

Question 2

How is this different from the ScrumMaster courses on this site?

Accepted Answer

ScrumMaster training prepares you to run one team with one backlog and one Sprint cycle. SAFe for Teams prepares you to work inside a scaled structure, where several teams share a program increment, depend on each other and answer to a PI Planning event every few months. The exam is 45 closed-book questions rather than 60.

Question 3

Do I need SAFe experience to take the exam?

Accepted Answer

No certification or programme experience is needed to start. The exam assumes you understand how a team works inside a programme, so the course starts with the four levels and the Big Picture before touching iteration events. Some employers ask for a separate programme for the people who run the train; this course is for the people in the teams.

Question 4

What does the SAFe for Teams exam involve?

Accepted Answer

It is 45 questions in 90 minutes, taken closed book on a single browser, and you need 35 of the 45 right to pass. Questions are single-select or multiple-select and are drawn from five sections: introducing SAFe, building an agile team, planning the iteration, executing the iteration and executing the PI.

Question 5

What does the SAFe syllabus cover?

Accepted Answer

Eight modules: the four levels and the Lean-Agile mindset, the core values and leadership principles, team roles and the team backlog, running an iteration, program level with PI planning and the solution backlog, large solution and portfolio level, the product and architecture roles, and a capstone in which you plan a program increment with two teams.

Question 6

What is the duration and fee?

Accepted Answer

Twelve weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 hours, with the PI Planning simulation inside the course. Fees run from Rs 45,000 depending on batch and mode, with classroom, live online and hybrid options and placement support through 200+ hiring partners.

Question 7

What certificate do I receive?

Accepted Answer

A SkilBrill Course Completion Certificate for the full 72 hours of the programme. The SAFe for Teams practitioner credential is issued by Scaled Agile after you pass the exam, and the exam access is normally bundled with the official Scaled Agile course rather than with this programme. SkilBrill prepares you for that exam; it does not issue it.
