Question 1

What is the SAP FICO training course?

Accepted Answer

It is a 12-week, 72-hour programme on the finance and controlling core of SAP S/4HANA, taught on a live client. You post to the general ledger, process payables and receivables, maintain assets, set up cost centres and internal orders, cost a production order, and close a period with reconciliations. The course ends with a finance-cycle capstone and a timed practice paper for the SAP Certified Associate credential.

Question 2

How is SAP FICO different from SAP MM, SAP PP and the general SAP training course?

Accepted Answer

The general SAP course surveys ERP, navigation and the cross-module cycle, and is the right start for a first-timer. SAP MM is the procurement module and SAP PP the production module; this course takes the finance and controlling side: what a transaction posts into the ledger, how cost is collected, and how a period is closed. If your job title says finance, accounting or cost accountant, FICO is the one named in it.

Question 3

Do I need prior SAP experience or accounting knowledge to join?

Accepted Answer

You need accounting knowledge and no SAP experience. You should know what a debit and a credit are, what a trial balance is, and how an invoice becomes a payment. You do not need to have configured anything, and you do not need to write code; the first module rebuilds the organisational structure of an enterprise so a first-time SAP learner can follow from the first session.

Question 4

Which SAP areas and financial transactions does the course cover?

Accepted Answer

The syllabus follows the published objectives for the SAP Certified Associate credential in financial accounting and controlling. You work on general ledger posting and reversal, vendor and customer invoices, payments and dunning, asset acquisition and depreciation, cost centres, internal orders, cost object accounting and profitability analysis, and you close a period with subledger reconciliations.

Question 5

Is the course suitable for commerce graduates and career switchers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and most of the room is made up of commerce and accounting graduates, chartered accountants moving towards a systems role, and finance team members who have used a ledger in another system. The teaching is built around what a finance function actually does in a live month, not around the transaction codes, and the capstone gives you a documented close cycle to talk about in an interview.

Question 6

Will this course make me a SAP FICO consultant?

Accepted Answer

No course can promise a role, and this one will not pretend otherwise. What it gives you is the configuration and posting logic that a functional interview on FICO actually tests, a reviewed capstone close cycle, an exam-aligned revision plan, and the placement cell to introduce you to hiring partners for entry-level SAP finance and finance analyst roles.

Question 7

What is the fee and how are batches run?

Accepted Answer

The programme fee is ₹18,000 – ₹75,000 depending on the batch and mode, and the SAP exam fee is paid to SAP separately. It runs 12 weeks with three sessions a week of two hours, in classroom, live online or hybrid mode, with weekday, weekend and evening batches. Enquire on +91 8610964691 for the next batch date.
