About Course
About SAFe for Teams Certification Training (Scaled Agile)
The four levels, the seven core values and the ten Lean-Agile leadership principles, taught down to the iteration calendar and PI Planning.
Working inside a scaled framework changes what a team owes the organisation, because the commitment is made at a planning event every few months rather than one sprint at a time. The habit this course trains is holding the program calendar and your own iteration together, sizing work so a train can plan around it, and keeping dependencies visible until someone owns them. The four levels, the Lean-Agile mindset and the release train are the vocabulary for that.
Course Overview
12-week SAFe for Teams training: four levels, seven core values, ten Lean-Agile leadership principles, PI planning, iteration execution and the 45-question exam.
Why Learn SAFe for Teams Certification Training (Scaled Agile)
Indian employers and global capability centres running programmes of ten teams recruit against SAFe, because they need people who can work inside an Agile Release Train where several teams share one solution increment. The credential screens for one thing: sizing a feature from the solution backlog, committing in a program context and raising a dependency another team is waiting on.
With it, you stop being a team member hoping for more responsibility and become a person the program can plan a release around, which is the route into release management and programme roles in large organisations. It also gives you a way to read the scaled framework that comes next.
Who Should Join This Course

Prerequisites
SAFe for Teams assumes you already work in, or are about to join, an agile team. You need to be comfortable with a sprint, a backlog and a stand-up before you can hold a PI Planning session or run an iteration review. No SAFe certification is required to start.

Hands-on Practice and Capstone
Capstone: Plan one program increment with two teams: break a feature into stories, size them together, place them in the solution backlog, and run the iteration review and retrospective inside a program cadence. You then sit a timed 45-question practice paper and submit a written map showing where your team sits on the Big Picture, with the dependencies you would raise to the program.
Production scenario: Your team is three weeks into an iteration, another team in the train is waiting on an interface you own, and the release train wants a commitment for a feature nobody sized. Decide what you commit, what you escalate to the program, and what you do not change inside the iteration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is SAFe for Teams training at SkilBrill?
It is preparation for the SAFe for Teams practitioner exam, taught at the level where most people actually work: the agile team inside an Agile Release Train. The course covers the four SAFe levels, the seven core values, the ten Lean-Agile leadership principles, iteration execution and PI planning, over 12 weeks and 72 hours.
How is this different from the ScrumMaster courses on this site?
ScrumMaster training prepares you to run one team with one backlog and one Sprint cycle. SAFe for Teams prepares you to work inside a scaled structure, where several teams share a program increment, depend on each other and answer to a PI Planning event every few months. The exam is 45 closed-book questions rather than 60.
Do I need SAFe experience to take the exam?
No certification or programme experience is needed to start. The exam assumes you understand how a team works inside a programme, so the course starts with the four levels and the Big Picture before touching iteration events. Some employers ask for a separate programme for the people who run the train; this course is for the people in the teams.
What does the SAFe for Teams exam involve?
It is 45 questions in 90 minutes, taken closed book on a single browser, and you need 35 of the 45 right to pass. Questions are single-select or multiple-select and are drawn from five sections: introducing SAFe, building an agile team, planning the iteration, executing the iteration and executing the PI.
What does the SAFe syllabus cover?
Eight modules: the four levels and the Lean-Agile mindset, the core values and leadership principles, team roles and the team backlog, running an iteration, program level with PI planning and the solution backlog, large solution and portfolio level, the product and architecture roles, and a capstone in which you plan a program increment with two teams.
What is the duration and fee?
Twelve weeks, three sessions a week of two hours each, totalling 72 hours, with the PI Planning simulation inside the course. Fees run from Rs 45,000 depending on batch and mode, with classroom, live online and hybrid options and placement support through 200+ hiring partners.
What certificate do I receive?
A SkilBrill Course Completion Certificate for the full 72 hours of the programme. The SAFe for Teams practitioner credential is issued by Scaled Agile after you pass the exam, and the exam access is normally bundled with the official Scaled Agile course rather than with this programme. SkilBrill prepares you for that exam; it does not issue it.
